From 13 August to 27 August, DRC No. 12 organized three screenings and panel discussions of the artist Wang Tuo’s work, The Second Interrogation (single-channel version), with a selected audience. The film presents the artist’s observation and analysis of Chinese cultural censorship. It depicts meetings and antagonism between a fictional artist and a censor. Through methods such as role switching and cross-inquiries, Wang Tuo discusses artists’ role in society and raises fundamental questions about how art can facilitate social change.
2023年8月13日至27日外交公寓12号举办了三场艺术家王拓作品《第二次审问》（单频版）的内部放映和讨论。该片呈现了王拓对近年来中国艺术文化审查的观察和反思。影片虚构了一位艺术家及一名审查员之间会面及对峙。影片通过两人角色换位和交叉质询的方式探讨了在一个社会里，艺术家的角色为何？艺术可以如何带来社会变革等本质性问题。
