DRC No.12 Established a new Board of Directors
Since its first project in December 2015, DRC No. 12, as a spontaneously occurring alternative art space, has held 24 exhibitions, organized numerous public programs including screenings and talks, and established an artist residency program. To better maintain the non-profit, experimental, and independent nature of the space, starting from 2024, DRC No. 12 has formed a new Board of Directors consisting of six board members and one honorary member, the latter of whom does not have voting rights.
From this point forward, the ownership and all related rights of DRC No. 12 have been transferred from the founder, Peng Xiaoyang, to the Board of Directors.
The Board has appointed Zhang Jueyin (KK) as the new Managing Director, succeeding Peng Xiaoyang.
The Board will determine the composition of the Academic Committee within the next three months. Until the reorganization of the Academic Committee, the current Committee will continue its previous work.
The main functions of the Academic Committee include the selection of exhibition proposals for DRC No. 12 and related academic research. The daily operations of the Academic committee are independent of the Board and are not subject to its jurisdiction or guidance.
DRC No. 12 welcomes artists and our colleagues in the art world to follow our exhibitions and events, and to recommend or submit exhibition proposals. The space will continue the system of providing a 10,000 RMB subsidy for each exhibition (including but not limited to artist fees).

Huang Jiehua
Member of the academic committee of DRC No. 12, currently works as the Director of Research at the UCCA Center for Contemporary Art. She earned a BA in French Literature from Peking University and graduated from the Art History Department at the Ecole du Louvre. Her research interests center on Sino-Japanese art exchanges in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, modern art in Vietnam, global modernism and colonial landscapes.
Liu Xinyi
Artist, currently based in Beijing. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Sculpture Department, China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, and his Master of Fine Arts from Goldsmiths in London. Liu works on various medium including installation, moving & still image and context-specific project.
Ni Haifeng
Artist, 1964 born in Zhoushan, P. R. China, presently lives in Amsterdam, the Netherlands; works in Amsterdam and Beijing. 1986 Graduated from Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (now China Academy of Art).

外交公寓12号设立新理事会
自2015年12月第一个项目以来，外交公寓12号（DRC No.12）作为一个随机发生的另类艺术空间，在8年间举办了24个展览，定期组织放映和对谈等公共项目，并设立了一个驻留项目。为了更好地保持空间的非营利、实验和独立性质，自2024年开始，外交公寓12号组成了新一届理事会，理事会由6名理事和1名荣誉理事构成，荣誉理事不具有表决权。
自此外交公寓12号的所有权及相关权益由创始人彭晓阳移交至理事会所有。
理事会任命了张觉引（KK）接替彭晓阳出任空间主持人。
理事会在未来3个月内确定交接后的学术委员会构成。在学术委员会重组之前，现任学术委员会仍延续之前的工作。
学术委员会的主要职能为DRC No.12空间的展览方案筛选及相关学术研究。学术委员会的日常工作独立于理事会，其运行不受理事会管辖和指导。
外交公寓12号欢迎艺术家和艺术从业者关注我们的展览和活动，并推荐或提交展览方案。空间将延续为每个展览提供一万元资助的制度（包括但不限于艺术家费）。

刘辛夷
艺术家，现生活和工作于北京。本科毕业于杭州的中国美术学院雕塑系，研究生毕业于伦敦的金史密斯学院艺术系，主要工作形态主要包括装置、影像和在地性项目。
倪海峰
艺术家，1964年出生于浙江舟山，现居荷兰阿姆斯特丹，工作在阿姆斯特丹和北京。1986毕业于浙江美术学院（现中国美术学院）。
